Healthcare from Bump to Baby and Beyond

Update your benefits coverage.

Welcoming a new child through birth, adoption, or foster care is considered a qualifying life event, which means you can adjust your benefits outside of the annual enrollment period. This may include updating your medical, dental, vision, or life insurance coverage to reflect your current needs and updating your beneficiaries for all policies.

Medical, Maternity, and Pediatric Care

Expecting a little one? Comfort Systems USA offers medical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield® to support your growing family. Quantum Health® Care Coordinators can help with:

  • Finding OB/GYNs or pediatricians
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Navigating maternity and newborn claims
  • Resolving billing issues and more

All plan tiers cover in-network prenatal care, delivery, and pediatric visits, and 100% of preventive care.

Too sick to leave home? MDLive® connects you with doctors or therapists virtually — right from your home.

From bump to budget — plan with purpose

Don’t have a budget for new baby expenses? Whether you’re planning for baby gear, medical bills, or time off, Lincoln WellnessPATH® is a digital tool that helps you set goals, track spending, and ease into parenthood with a little less worry and a lot more confidence.

Parenting is a big job — and you don’t have to do it alone. The EAP is another resource that can help you with:

  • Financial and Legal Services: Access consultations for budgeting, wills, or maternity leave planning
  • Childcare Referrals: Get help finding daycare, nannies, or back-up care
Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
HSA

Enrolled in a Silver or Bronze HSA medical plan? You can adjust your tax-free HSA contributions anytime to pay for qualified medical, dental, and vision expenses — now or later, since unused funds roll over each year.

Comfort Systems USA contributes quarterly:

  • $500 for employee-only
  • $1,000 for employee + dependents
FSA

Use them or lose them — don’t forget to use your tax-free FSA contributions on eligible expenses before year-end, since only a limited amount of funds can be rolled over.

  • Healthcare FSA (Gold Plan): Use funds for eligible medical, dental, and vision expenses

Explore eligible items at the HSAstore® and FSAstore®:

  • Prenatal Care: Vitamins, belly bands, electrolyte drink, fetal doppler, etc.
  • Postpartum Care: Breastfeeding supplies, baby monitors, medicine and first aid kits, etc.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA)

If you’re enrolled in a DCFSA, you can use those pre-tax funds for eligible childcare expenses, including licensed daycares or nanny services.

  • First Day ICU: $1,200 or $2,400
  • Daily Hospital Stay (up to 30 days): $100 or $200/day
